Graythwaite Tour This tour is an essential introduction to the "Segway Smile". A guided tours around the grounds of Graythwaite Estate. Also taking in a section of Graythwaite Hall Gardens - essentially a Spring garden settled in a wooded valley of twelve acres. On arrival you will be familiarised with the intuitive technology that is the heart of each and every Segway PT. When you are thoroughly satisfied with your ability to "glide with a Segway Smile" you will have personal use of a Segway x2 to embark on a scenic "glide" through the beautiful grounds that are the immediate surroundings of Graythwaite Hall After around 15-20

Adventure Tour For people who have already enjoyed the "Graythwaite Tour". This extended tour of Graythwaite Estate also takes in woodland tracks and trails. It encompasses the western shores of Windermere itself and the experienced "Segger" in you can explore the capabilities of these exceptional machines while taking in the glorious sights and sounds of less frequented areas of the Lake District. The Adventure Tour lets you embark on a glide that initially covers the Graythwaite Tour route but then extends to more demanding terrain that will leave you exhilarated with the scenery as well as the Segway PT. The tour itself will extend to around 90 minutes or more if the photo-stops dictate. £50 per person |

PLEASE NOTE:
Remember to dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day.
Secure footwear should be worn (trainers, light walking boots, etc. but not
sandals, flip-flops or similar)
All riders are required to wear helmets. Riders must be at least 14 years old
and weigh 45kg (7 stones / 100lbs).
A parent or legal guardian must sign a consent form for riders 14 to 16 years old and accompany
them on the tour.
Tour weight limit of
110kg (17½ stones / 245 lbs).
Riders must be comfortable standing for between
60 or 90 or more minutes dependent on tour selected.
They should be able
to shift their weight & be comfortable leaning slightly from side to side
and be capable of stepping on and off the Segway PT when required.
